Book #2 from the series: CSI East Coast series

CSI East Coast Episode II (CSI series Book 2)

About

Something sinister is going on in a small college town near Montgomery, Alabama. What begins as a series of routine pranks turns out to be much more, and before long the FBI is called upon to solve the mystery. In a strange turn of events, something tragic happens! A total of sixteen young women go missing in a single night. To complicate matters further, the local officials are instructed to keep a lid on these disappearances. They explain the situation as a simple college prank at the all girls’ school, but when a body is found with no plausible cause of death, suddenly the stakes are much higher. How did an innocent panty raid turn into murder? Choosing to turn the lead over to a new unit called CSI East Coast, the FBI takes a low profile in the investigation. Samantha Powers, an up-and-coming CSI agent, known by her friends as Sam is puzzled by this approach. She is now charged with the task of solving the crime; the only problem: nobody is willing to admit a crime has even occurred. Her partner Jonathan West, a well-known novelist, is her only aid. The CSI East Coast team has barely worked together for a total of two weeks during which time they solved one of the greatest murder mysteries of the city of New York. Now they are expected to do it again. Join us in this thriller as we embark on a new endeavor: CSI East Coast Episode II.

Praise for this book

4.0 out of 5 stars Schooled In Crime!
Another CSI Story. I found this book quite interesting with a different angle then most. Having crimes taking place in a unusual spot, and no one knowing about the crimes, can make it hard to find the killer. If I have caught your attention, then you have to read the book to find out what I am talking about. Well done, Roger Grubbs!

Story line good but found the banter between Sam and Jonathan a bit too much.
Still good read very predictable
