Excalibur - The Last Quest (Adventures series Book 2)

About

Having found the Legendary Round Table of King Arthur, it is immediately discovered that only one thing is missing – Excalibur! Once in place, along with the twelve other swords, the magical powers of Camelot will be rekindled. Realizing the invincible power embodied in Excalibur will be transferred to its bearer, leads to a hunt with far reaching effects. With the power to rule the world at stake, everyone rushes into a frantic search to lay hold on this mystical, powerful sword. After weighing the consequences, the President of the United States took the lead role in the search. He had only one choice – solicit the help of the famous Dr. Andrew Rogers – an archeological expert – and his newly acquired assistant, Dr. Kathleen McGregor. Interrupting a dinner engagement used to celebrate their return from the last mission, In Search of Paradise, the duo must now find Excalibur at all costs. During their quest the two uncover more than they bargained for. Will they find Excalibur? What is the mystery that unites the Glastonbury Abbey, the Tintagel Castle, Merlin, and the Lady of the Lake? Can this mystery be solved in time to avert an event of catastrophic proportions?

Praise for this book

I have just started the Adventure series, I love the humor, romance, danger and all of the little details. Roger Grubbs puts in his books, that keeps you wanting more. When I seen the Title, I thought I would be taken back to days of the knights. Which in a sense you are. This book will grab you at the start, and keep you on your toes, to the end. I suggest that you have all of the books in the series, when you start. Rogers books take you away to far off lands, and you learn so much without leaving your yard. Keep writing, Roger, because I will read everything you print....

Vonda Norwood's Daughter - Katie: It was funny and exciting and I didn't want to stop reading to do my homework!
I laughed a lot and there were lots of surprises that I liked and I can't wait to read "The Mystery of The Mummy"!
Surprises are a lot of fun for me, and I just want to read more!
Thank you, Roger Grubbs.

A modern twist to an old legend
The author has done an excellent job bringing the story of Camelot and King Arthur to life. Excalibur seems to be the central plot behind this story; but before the end arrives, there is something else at stake. This is the most vulnerable position Dr. Rogers has ever found himself to be in. Only Kat is able to save him, but who will save her? I love the details of a familiar legend being presented in a different light. I found love, romance, action, suspense, and - yes - the realm of metaphysical all being carefully woven together in this unique story. I'll read it again. But first, I want to enter the next adventure. I was thoroughly entertained by Excalibur - The Last Quest. Highly recommended.
