Romance is something everyone desires – even men if they would be willing to admit it. What better way to fall in love than at first sight? For a young woman of twenty-two, that is exactly what happened. Jill St. James has everything. She is rich, attractive, and about to graduate from a prestigious university in Central Florida. So, what is the problem? She desires a worthy young man to spend the rest of her life with, but every boyfriend she has ever had is a jerk. Sound familiar? Boredom has set in, and her friend Susan convinces her there is a special someone out there just for her. All she needs to do is find him. Succumbing to her intense persistence, Jill agrees to a night out on the town. Immediately she becomes captivated by a man named Jack. Assuming that Susan has set up this chance meeting, Jill soon finds herself on what she believes to be a date; but Jack has a secret. Before long, they both realize this situation is simply a huge misunderstanding. Yet there is nothing simple about their relationship at all. To the contrary, the two of them are instantly drawn to each other as they are thrown headlong into a dangerous spy thriller. While Jill is certainly no longer bored, there are many other things to be concerned about. Staying alive is at the top of the list. Now she finds herself in love and in danger with no time for romance. But that doesn’t stop the thoughts which suddenly become a distraction for both of them. Yet Jack has a rule: love and danger just do not mix.

I loved, loved, LOVED this book! It was so much fun. Exciting, romantic and fun. Jack and Jill are hilarious together, and their story and adventure doesn't disappoint. This is a fun, easy read. I thoroughly enjoyed the characters and the story.

The novel In Love and In Danger is an attention grabber from start to finish, minus the few pages in the beginning. Once you pick this book up you won't be able to stop reading it. It is filled with so much action and emotion that it keeps you wondering what's next. Jill St. James is a 22 year old college student that has everything anyone could hope for. She has beauty, brains, lots of money, about to graduate with a double major, and drives a Porsche. Jill complains that her life is boring and lacks romance, considering that every guy she has dated thus far were all jerks. Susan, a close friend of Jill gets Jill to go to the bar with her to find her a nice guy. Once Susan and Jill made it to the bar it wasn't long before Jill seen a handsome man name Jack that caught her attention; sparks began to fly immediately. Jill was at lost for words when Jack came over to speak with her, before she knew it he was asking her if she was ready to leave. Jill thinking that Susan set this whole thing up she agreed to leave with Jack not knowing the danger she has just placed herself in and Jack not knowing that he has the wrong person. While Jill was there to find love Jack was there to complete a mission. Once Jill and jack left the bar danger met them immediately, they were chased and shot at placing Jill in total shock and telling Jack to drop her off immediately, but that wasn't so easy considering Jack was a secret agent and the enemies now have a good look at her. Having no choice Jill must aboard a plane with Jack and his assistant Alice. After all of this Jill was still head over hill for Jack, to the point that she even agrees to be his sidekick with the mission even though being a black belt was the only experience she had. Not knowing the dangers she just placed herself in. When they landed in Cambodia Jack and Jill must act as a married couple. Soon after they land danger meets them again leaving them to the wild adventures that lie ahead. This novel is filled with twists and surprises. Jack and Jill travel through the woods and jungles of Cambodia on foot with no food and in heavy rains; even coming across random snakes. They eventually found a cabin on the mountain where they rested and ate a can of beans as well as connecting with their new ally Harry and his wife Bessie. Jack and Jill are now starting to fall in love but can't allow their emotions to show until the mission was completed. Ready for battle with "snake" and his guards Harry, Jack, and Jill are loaded with ammunition and explosives. Jack leaves them to set off a bomb and never returns leaving the others to think that he is now dead. Jill is now willing to carry out her part of the mission and anything else that she must do to make sure Jacks sacrifice of his life for the mission does not go to waste. With emotions all over the place Jill finds herself alone in unfamiliar land and running from evil strangers. With the new information she has attained making her a target she must follow the directions left by jack to insure her survival. Later in the story Jill links back up with Alice, the duo finish out the mission in Cambodia and must fight for their survival and make it back to the states. Once they made it back in the states after battling to get there everything begins to unfold leaving you on the edge of your seat. This novel is filled action and surprises that will definitely keep you entertained. This book will teach one to be careful what they wish for! I would definitely recommend others to read this book. I know I will probably read it again!

The novel In Love and Danger by Roger Grubbs was one of the most interesting books I personally have ever read. Most novels start out pretty boring or confusing and takes a while to even start getting into the reading, not with this book. Once I started reading the story, I was automatically hooked; it was very intriguing and passionate. While reading, I was wishing for the type of romance that Jack and Jill had and fell in love with their relationship. The story line was organized very well and every page offered a different situation and problem. The novel kept me on my toes and I never knew what would happen next. In Love and Danger never had a boring moment and I honestly couldn't stop reading until the end. It was an amazing story and had a great plot behind it the entire time. I would recommend this book to anyone and I wasn't disappointed one bit.

"In Love and In Danger" was a captivating and adventurous book. Right away I was intrigued by one of the main characters Jill. She was a beautiful, wealthy twenty-two year old college student who had everything going for her, yet she could not find a man worth her time. Her friend Susan took her out for drinks one night and when she saw Jack, she could not help but stare. He soon came up to introduce himself. Little did she know, her life was about to change and she was going to be thrown through a whirlwind of dangerous situations. Jack had mistaken her for a spy but when the two finally realized this, Jill was already into far and while pretending to be a happy, in love, married couple, they actually began to fall in love. They went through crazy obstacles to complete their mission. In the end, Jill thought she had lost Jack forever, but when she finally came back home and found out the Dean had fixed her grades so she could go to the graduation party, things were beginning to turn around but she was still missing and wanting Jack more than anything. Fortunately, when Jill least expected it, Jack showed up and surprised her. I loved the ending of the book because Jack and Jill getting through the mission and living happily ever after was all I wanted! I would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for an adventurous, love story that keeps you turning page after page.

Jill St. James has an ordinary life as an typical twenty-two year old. Bored with her current lifestyle Jill wanted to experience a new life with also a new guy. Agreeing to go out clubbing with her friend Jill's life will soon make an unexpectedly change. After meeting a guy that caught her eye and leaving with him shortly from the club, Jill quickly found herself in some serious danger. Riding in the car with a complete stranger she just met she was now screaming for life and dodging bullets from a car following their every movement. As they begin to converse they realized Jill has been mistaking identified as the wrong person. As bad as Jill wanted to back out of the situation there was no turning back. Jill was now apart of a top powerful mission. Leaving one country and entering another Jill was now on the other side of the world. Still shocked and confused on what was actually happening, she still managed to fall for her companion. Jill agreed to be apart of the mission and convinced her companion whom she had just met and knew absolutely nothing about that she would help him complete the mission. As the days went by Jill was faced with many obstacles and she forced to use weapons she have never used before. After falling more and more with her companion Jack things will soon go down hill for her. Jill lost Jack and now she was alone until Alice came alone now they were on the mission together until a tragedy happened and she lost her to. All alone Jill managed to complete the mission on her own and was reunited with all of her companions at the end. This book was beyond exciting to read and I believe anyone who reads the first page will not be able to put it down until they finish!! Very nice book!
