Spirit of An Eagle

About

Legends of the wild frontier such as the likes of Daniel Boone, Davy Crockett, and General Andrew Jackson are all synonymous with early American adventures. But there was one brave frontiersman of whom the world never knew – that is until now. His name? David Bowie, a young lad of only thirteen. David was head over heels in love with Rebecca West age fifteen, the prettiest girl he had ever set eyes on. Her younger sister Olivia age twelve was his best friend and secretly in love with him. While retrieving water from a nearby stream, the two young girls were taken captive by Creek warriors. Unknown to their parents, they were soon on a long and treacherous journey deep into Creek territory, held captive by the infamous Red Eagle. Their only hope? A brave young man who immediately began tracking their captors. As the trail leads deep into the wilderness of Alabama, the lad realizes this is part of a master plan. There is a major uprising being led by the Red Sticks, and thousands of settlers are destined to die at the hands of the angry warriors. Upon making that discovery David has more to contend with than any man should have to face alone, especially at the young age of only thirteen. But love is a powerful and motivating force, especially for a kind, gentle soul with character. David’s presence touches the lives of thousands of people on both sides of the confrontation that follows. But in the end, it is the Spirit of An Eagle that makes the difference.
