For some this story will bring tears of joy while others will experience tears of compassion. But, one thing is for sure – all will be left on the edge of their seats by this thrilling adventure. The Mystery of The Mummy...top pick, highly recommended by Midwest Book Review.

The mystery of the Mummy is a nice action/adventure pack thriller with a very interesting storyline that engages the reader in from the very beginning. The plot of the story is perfect. The background scenery that took place in Egypt is a perfect fit for any Mummy to be. The characters of the story are very compelling. Thirty female college students go on an expedition along with two of the world's best archaeologists, Dr. Rogers and Dr. McGregor. During the highly anticipated trip, a mummy has escaped from the museum in New York and is on the loose. The body of the Mummy is being used by the Grand Masters spirit and he is on a mission to dispose of Dr. Rogers, because he knows that one day Dr. Rogers would intervene with his plans to take over the world. Meanwhile, Dr. Rogers and his fellow students, alongside with the beautiful Dr. McGregor is on a quest to find King Josephs lost artifacts in Egypt. Dr. Rogers and his companions flew out to Egypt. After a near death experience, everyone was escorted to his or her place to stay. The duration of the trip expected to last fourteen days. The expedition started rough for the girls, but within time, the girls were becoming better at working as a team. Day after day, the students found one valuable artifact after another in a huge cave where all of the expedition took place. However, the mummy was still on the loose. The mummy encountered Dr. Rogers and the rest of the gang on numerous occasions and Dr. Rogers could sense they were going to be in serious trouble. When Dr. McGregor, the woman Dr. Rogers was falling in love with became in danger prior to the mummy's presence, he knew he had to do something about it. After obtaining the Chariot from Josephs tomb and receiving credit for their hard work, Dr. Rogers had unfinished business matters to attend. With the police and master Levis getting involved, Dr. Rogers knew he had to confront the grand master himself. Dr. McGregor and an officer standing nearby as Dr. Rogers enters the portal, will he survive? I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in action/adventure stories. It is full of excitement, drama, and action. This a great a book and you will not be disappointed.

Action, suspense, and very entertaining
The main character of the book, Dr. Rogers, is a notable archeologist and a larger than life hero. The Mystery of the Mummy is full of action and suspense. In the beginning, a five-thousand-year-old curse has been unleashed upon the world; and there is no one to stop it. The only hope for mankind lies in the main character of the book, but will he be willing to make the necessary sacrifices? This curse is not the only thing Dr. Rogers is faced with. He has to chaperone thirty of his students to Egypt. It just so happens they are all females, each desiring to be in a relationship with the handsome professor. But he has his eyes set on another. Kathleen McGregor has come along on the trip to help oversee the expedition. The journey is plagued with mysterious things that keep happening to them. Finding out who is responsible proves to be very difficult. They must keep their minds focused on the reason for the trip. They are there to verify the tomb of Joseph. What they find is much more than that. In the end, Dr. Rogers is forced to make a choice. In order to save his friends, he must travel beyond this world. Will he be able to find his way back, or is it impossible to return? I really admire the courage shown by Dr. Rogers and the Lieutenant, another character in the book. The ending is superb. I'll read it again.

The Mystery of the Mummy Roger Grubbs, hooked me with his first book, This adventure series is AMAZING! I love the characters Kat and Andy. As every story, Roger keeps you totally unaware of your surroundings, you are standing in the sand with blisters. I love how his Characters, Kat and Andy keep you on the edge of you seat. I advise you to have all the books to this series before you begin... Another outstanding book, Roger...

The Novel the Mystery of The Mummy was a good book that for told the travel of Archeologist's that came across obstacles and mind-blowing artifacts, but this go round a rude awakening has left New York museum of fine arts shaken up and the people of New York scared. Dr. Andrew Rogers and Dr. Kathleen McGregor is on another trip and this time there traveling to Egypt on a field trip with a group of kids trying to put an end to the chaos and prevent the world from ending. This novel was pretty good and I would recommend this book to everyone especially those who are fascinated by mystery books and adventurers. The reason that I liked the book is because it kept me interested and not knowing what was next. The book taught me a lot about Egypt's history even though it was fiction I learned how Joseph was sold off to slave traders by his family and he became the Pharaohs right hand man. The main reason that I like this book is because even though Dr. Rogers was faced with life threatening trials he always faced his adversaries head on and without fear. He fought for his friends and his students and he was a very humble man. The part that I liked the most is how at the end Dr. Rogers was willing to give up his life for the one he loved Dr. McGregor. This book taught me how dangerous and exiting an archeologist job can be. I would highly recommend this book to every reader and say that Roger D. Grubbs is an amazing author.
