The Ghost of Ariana

About

Marred by tragedy, the Cavanaugh family legacy has been shrouded in secrecy for a century and a half. What happened on that terrible night that set things in motion for future generations? A beautiful young lady needed to hear her friend say three simple words, powerful words very dear to her, so important she simply couldn’t wait until morning. Yet for a proper young lady to travel alone by horseback in the middle of the night was a risky decision. Just before midnight while riding a magnificent black steed, she suddenly sensed big trouble. Three men with a sinister plot chased after her, forcing the lone rider to leave the main road and take to the woods. Sadly her horse stumbled and she was knocked unconscious. When she awakened, the eyes of evil were staring down upon her. Strangely, two hours later as the clock struck twice, she was secretly in the arms of her love where they both fell asleep on the grassy lawn of his father’s sprawling estate. Before dawn Travis Cavanaugh was awakened by a violent storm only to discover his beautiful guest was nowhere to be seen. But, to his surprise she had left a single red rose as a token of her affection. During the early morning hours as the sun came up, the Cavanaugh household was awakened with news of the night’s horrifying events. Yet as Travis listened with suspicion, he soon realized there was more to the tragedy, leaving many unanswered questions. One hundred and fifty years passes, and the answers surrounding that chain of events remains a mystery. Who holds the key to unlocking the secrets? Look no further than the beautiful seductress known as The Ghost of Ariana.

I for one, have never seen a ghost, so I can't tell you what a ghost can do. What this ghost did, was an amazing story. Great Job again Roger! Huge fan....

3.0 out of 5 stars fast read
A good quick read.
The plot goes from present tense to the past.
A nice little mysterious story that kept me guessing about the outcome till the very end.

Do not expect a horror, scary type novel at all. If that is what you are expect this is not the story for you.
