The Missing Gun

About

School is almost out and a group of six friends will soon graduate. Before fall arrives, taking them away to college, they must contend with those boring days of summer. But, Matt has a plan and it requires the help of his friends. The city of Birmingham, Alabama is plagued with crime. People are mysteriously ending up dead and the weapon seems to have a way of disappearing. On one particular occasion a witness even saw it at the scene of the crime. By the time the site could be secured it was gone. Yet, the same weapon continues to show up time and time again, always leaving behind a dead body before mysteriously disappearing. Diane’s grandfather was murdered when she was but a child. The case was never solved, leaving her totally disgruntled with the justice system. Ready to help Matt with this new project, her skills with technology are essential. While Diane is a genius, each member of the team is key to the success of this mission. Tina, an experienced writer with connections with the local newspapers, is assisted by Jerry. Gathering information for the articles, Bill and Cherry work undercover. That leaves Matt – well all he has to do is infiltrate the police department. Using her skills, Diane hacks into the computers and partnered Matt with a tiger named Jessica. Later she regrets that decision, secretly having a crush on Matt. But before this mystery is solved, that is the least of her worries. Suddenly people are trying to murder them too. Mystery Writers Anonymous has uncovered a mess.
