Legend of the Deep Lagoon (Vampire Series Book 1)

About

If you are brave enough, come make a trip to the Deep Lagoon. Try your hand at solving the mystery that has marred the past. But to get there, you will have to travel a narrow, winding road called Devil’s Fork. Long ago a tragedy occurred near the banks of the deep, sinister lagoon. A total of ten souls entered a frightening lake house on that dreadful eve with only four surviving. Twenty years have passed, and the missing parties were never heard from again. The story has become a legend, embellished by many while sitting around the campfires. It rivals the most terrifying tales of all time, yet none can resist its allure. While the tragedy is spoken of as if it happened yesterday, its roots can be traced back much further. For centuries there have been demons lurking about, many posing as humans. But, on one fine day in the month of May, an alluring young lady named Natasha appears on the steps of Brighton High, along with her handsome brother Brandon. The two of them have many secrets. Privately they claim to be vampire slayers, warlocks if you prefer. Their purpose is made known only to a select few. The rest are left in the dark, unknowingly cast under a spell. Before long the mysterious strangers have resurrected the Legend of the Deep Lagoon.

5.0 out of 5 stars vampire review
Legend of the Deep Lagoon was such a fun read. I do enjoy good vampire stories, so I can be quite selective and picky in what I choose. I will say, I was NOT disappointed with the adventures of the four main characters in this story! Was even nicely surprised to see that Roger Grubbs included warlocks with his vampires. Natasha, Brandon, Alex and Victoria kept me on my toes. I didn't always know what to expect or who they'd turn out to be...the good vampire, the bad warlock, and the suspense kept me glued to their adventures. Roger has a way of writing exquisite stories that just make you want to come back for more! I am excited to see what happens in the next segment of these living-dead creatures.

Roger Grubbs hooked me with the first book I read( Legend of the Deep Lagoon). When i started reading, couldn't put down til the end. I love the way Roger writes, it's not your typical, same ol, stories you can figure out, in the first chapter, don't take my word for it. Order it!
